Who would ever think that Social Networking could be a home based business opportunity?
Social Networking has become an income producing pastime!
Billions of Dollars!
First of all, one might wonder how you could earn an income simply by visiting with friends and family on the internet! And even if it did create income, how much money could you possibly earn? To answer that question you must first know where the money is coming from.
If you watch the news you might recall when Google paid 1.65 billion dollars for YouTube.com and Rupert Murdoch spent 580 million to aquire MySpace. Why on earth would these people spend so much money on something that produces no income! The answer lies in one word: Advertising!
Remember the paradigm shift I referred to earlier?
Things like TiVo and the internet have had a serious negative impact on TV advertising. And TV advertisers spend billions of dollars! A large portion of those billions are moving to popular and growing Social Networks. In fact, MySpace and Facebook have already proven how these networks can make money from the efforts of end-users.
However, MySpace and Facebook are now 'facing' a new kind of competition. Korry Rogers, founder and CEO of one of these new competitors is proving that both businesses and end-users can share in the more than $100 million dollars per month advertising revenue flooding into these networks today.
The business model is based on two things: 1) End-user participation is free, and 2) Half of the network's advertising revenue is distributed to participating end-users. Plus, end-users are paid for traffic generated by themselves AND for the traffic generated by friends they refer! A practice that could lead to sizeable monthly incomes for some end-users.
Teenage Millionaires?
Online socializing has already produced at least one teenage millionaire and the way youth dominates the social networking world, could there be more?
Ashley Qualls, a 17 year old high school dropout earns $70,000 a month and has turned down a 1.5 million dollar buyout offer. Inspirational, no doubt. And a clear example of the massive potential that the web has when it comes to generating substantial and consistent income. The amount of money she currently earns would be difficult to replicate offline.
